dogs - c&c please

took the dogs out for a few shots. what do you think? c&c more than welcome!!

1. i know, the area on his back is blown out. but after i adjusted, posing time was over aparently... lol

2. does the angle work?

all in all i still have to train them to look in the camera longer. i am having trouble focusing on their eyes instead of their nose, with heads bopping around in excitement. lol... you think manual focus will work better?

I was about to point out that the dog in the 2nd pic has its nose in focus and not its eyes, but you got there first!, nice sweet pics all the same.
Maybe try sticking their favorite treat to the underside of your lens and starving them for a couple of hours, you'll get their undivided attention and maybe use manual focus if you cant set a focus point on their eyes in time, but you got the dogs and the camera so you have lots of practice ahead.
But as I said, their good pics as is..

i WAS using treats! lol... but moca (the cocker spaniel) is just sooo restless... yeah, i think i'll try the manual focus next time... see how that works...
