Great image. Harsh lighting is difficult to use, and this one is wonderful.

really nice work, those striations make the desert sand looks like rock, but then you know because of the grass that the wind has traced the delicate patterns that are nicely laid out. I really like the tone you chose too.

Thanks everyone. For something I thought would be so simple, it wasn't. None of the constrasts seemed to go together, everything kept coming out so brash. When I walked up to it I thought, "how easy." When I looked at the original before postprocessing, and all of the detail and contrasts, I could feel my shoulders slump. Going with a light sepia mellowed it out- I wish I would have figured that out about two hours earlier
