What's new

Don't poke me!

Ok, let me start by saying I am a complete noob to this level of photography. So just take my comments as that of a person just viewing a picture with an undeveloped photographer's eye. But, I will say I love the vibrant colors of the subjects in this picture, but in capturing such vibrant colors the whites in the picture are very vibrant too. So much so that when I first look at the picture my eye is more drawn to all he white than the subject itself. Now like I stated I am very new to this so how to fix this I am not sure yet. But, with the little I know maybe taking the ISO down a little bit. Not so much that you lose the colors of the subject but just enough that the white is not so over powering. Well, hope this helped you in some way .... see you around...

As I look over the pics more maybe the brightness could be in my screen. I think I am seeing in the other pics you may have got it a little darker but ..... hmmmm.... its all in all still a beautiful picture.

Thanks. I think it may be your screen. My two displays are calibrated and it doesn't seem overly vibrant to me.
Maybe someone else can comment.
