OP...no telling.

Sometimes only get a few keepers per 100 - 200. In the old days I was thrilled with one keeper per 36 exp roll. I'n not that good of a tog, so i have to shoot lots to get anyhting worthwhile. The Nat Geo togs shoot 5,000 - 15,000 images to get a dozen or so keepers for the spread.

But when i talk about my keepers. I am talking about my highest grade images that go into my portfolio. Not just keepers that i don't delete. If all your doing is spraying crap with a motor drive you will just get lots of crap to delete. Something should give between each image or it is all the same bulk pray and spray crap that no amount of praying will fix.

Hmm.

I take pictures whenever I see the chance for a good one.

Failure rate ? Uh-hu. I delete some pictures instantly, more when I got it on the harddisk, more when I review my pictures later. No idea what the actual rate is and why does it matter ?
