double bass

I took these with my canon 350D an converted them to B/W...Could you please tell me if the conversion is ok, or what i could do differently.

the second and third shots are great! i like the dof in the third! the light relfecting of the bass in the first is a little distracting. but overall great job! :thumbup::thumbup:
