Dove In Her Nest

Apparently, this mama dove finds our rainwater downspout a safe, and secure spot to have built her nest. She's been sitting on her eggs for a while now.

She’s sweet! I believe these birds will come back every year to nest if they find the situation accommodating. My friend has one that comes every year and nests in the wreath she has on her patio.

I never get tired of looking at all the unusual places birds decide to build nests in!
