Heres two of yesterdays shots,There not as bad as I first thought.They were shot at the river lagon.

#1 is my favorite! :thumbup: I love how peaceful it looks with the late afternoon light.

The second one doesn't do much for me. The first has some nice color. I think the bit of blue at the top is distracting and takes from the shot with the 50-50 composition. I think I'd crop about half or so of the top half out (about to the top of the dark shadow on the right). That would put that trail/path on the bank right then and there (IMO).

If I had to pick, I'd go with #2.

Why did you ever think these could be bad, Chris?
I don't think they are!
I like the reflection in 1 and the inclusion of a bit more sky in the reflection than on the "real" side.

You might want to work on 2 a bit more to bring out some more colours to make it "pop" more and "speak" more, maybe?
