downtown shot

took this photo a few days ago and was stoked to get the plane in the shot. any thoughts?

I really like the concept in this shot -- the RR tracks in the foreground with the plane in the background and the city in the middle. Nice idea. I'm envious!

If I could change some things: 1) the horizon is tilted down to the right; 2) the sky has a large bright spot in the top middle that looks unreal; 3) the RR tracks would be more interesting to me if the camera had been slightly higher above them. But these are just my thoughts. What matters most is what you think.

I think that that's a very good shot. the only thing that annoys me is the tilted horizon but I LOVE the way the plane turned out with rails!!! great!

thanks for the comments. i guess i kind of rushed myself when i saw the plane coming. i just saw it coming and rushed to get it in focus. i think i'm going to go back to the same spot and wait for a plane to come. :mrgreen:
