This is such an interesting aircraft.... I had an appt soon after it landed or I would have stuck around to see them hinge that tail section over and start loading the 787 Nose section into that huge fuselage.... Someday I'll capture that.... Someday!

This morning's high heat temps really showed up in the landing photos (wavy)....yet, it wasn't too bad on the tarmack...I found that sorta strange

Probably because it was a ⅓ of the distance from landing photos to tarmack photos

But I love the heat shimmer from those 4 big jet engines ....and the exterior skin rivet patterns and textures

It's pictures like this that make me super happy to get back into photography....it's those little things in life

I have an inside source at Boeing (since I spent 40 yrs there before retiring in 2018).....then I go to FlightRadar24 and follow the flight all the way into Wichita!
