Dropping in for a drink of water

I was lucky enough to capture a pileated woodpecker landing on a tree. There is a hole where a branch use to be in the tree that holds water. It's a popular watering hole for a lot of wildlife in my back yard. I wish I could have increased the shutter speed a little more to slow the action a little bit. I knew I would miss the shot if I tried to change it though.

Yeah I have the same critiques as you. Would love to see this sharpened a bit. Faster shutter speed would've done wonders on this photo.
