The timing of 5 and 6 makes the drummer look like he has no idea what he's doing.

No, I regulary get the remark that drummers are often forgotten by photographers. Two reasons that make drummers a hard subject: The poor lighting and they are set up at the back of the stage. So I went through my pics and seleced these out.

Yes I find that I very rarely show up in photos of our live shows... Usually the best I get is a stick in the air, or maybe a cymbal..
These are really great photos though.

Try to get some descent lighting on you an try to set up the stage sou you aren't blocked by the others. Contact a photographer and give him permission to photograph on stage. Maybe that way you'll get some more action pics of you.

We often play on stages that are pretty tight, so there isn't really much wiggle room in terms of where we stick the drumset. Maybe I can make sure to have a photographer handy whenever we play on the larger stages, though. We're looking into lighting as well, thanks for the tips!
