After looking at several threads here in the nature/wildlife section I was inspired to get out and try a few, it was a foggy morning so the colors on the birds just wasn't coming out. The sun got through a bit and things improved, just curious from reading other threads if I'm on track with my cropping of the picture and if trying to compensate for hazy light afterwards worked or if it looks too processed. First time trying to post pics so hopefully something shows up.

It looks pretty good to me. Perhaps a touch over-saturated but a good exposure and processing.

I prefer the second crop to the first though. Good use of the "Rule of Thirds" on that one.

The reflection is odd. In the reflection it looks like the duck has a "Top Knot" whereas the actual duck doesn't.

Thanks for the help. The first pic is the photo straight from the camera, the second is cropped and processed. As soon as I looked at the pics on the computer I realized I had cutoff some of head reflection in pretty much all my shots.
