Ducks in the DR C&C Please!

Ok, so I just got married early November and we spent our Honeymoon in Punta Cana, DR. It was AWESOME and I was able to take the camera but due to the size of the safes in the rooms, I had to take my small bag which left me with the body and two lenses. This is the first real trip I've taken the camera on so I wasn't sure which lenses to take... I ended up bringing the 11-16 and 50-135. After getting there, I quickly wished I had packed the 16-50 as this was probably the only range of focal lengths that would have been useful indoors in most cases. Anyway, On one of the days, I went around with the 11-16 thinking I would get some landscape shots, but I came across these ducks... not the most Ideal lens and I had to get SUPER close to them, but here's what I was able to nab....

This is a crop and it wasn't the sharpest capture because I had the Polarizer on and the sun was glaring on it a bit. I'm still learning so any criticism or comments are appreciated!
