The Dumbbell Nebula! I imaged this target last year, but added more exposure time to it over the last clear nights we had. I was able to bring out much more detail inside the nebula. In total this image now has 7.5hrs of exposure time.

I also had a little fun and made a stereoscopic 3D version of the image that really brings it to life! Viewing a stereoscopic image is easy. As long as you can cross your eyes you can do it. It's better viewed on a big screen, but while looking at the image, #2, start crossing your eyes until the two images line up as one in the middle, and focus on the middle image. It should clear up and jump out!

It's certainly personal preference. These colors are as they are out of the camera. Unless I'm going full false color, I tend not to alter the color much, just usually boosting the saturation.
