While you composed that image in good way (IMO), pattern of lines is drawing attention, the picture is kind of gray, lacks sun to give the picture a happy atmosphere and three-dimentionality to the detail. Well, not always we are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

The color of the fence is amazing.I like how you made the picture.

I like this shot. Try cropping it so that the top of the frame is just below the top of any of the slats in the back fence. When I did it just scrolling on the screen, for me it really drove the focus to the front fence where so much texture is at. I would also push the darks just a little to give it a little more contrast.
