Could be a really great photo, especially with the reflection, but there are problems. The trees make it look too busy, the picture is a little too underexposed and crucially, it's way out of focus. Keep trying though!

Stranger, This was a 15 Sec exposure with my p&s. I may shoot it again with better equipment, if so I'll keep your suggestions in mind. Without the reflection I have no interest in shooting this again ....... Thanks for your feedback...

Looks like it may have been windy, you can see some movement in the trees which is making the image feel a bit soft.

Your underexposed everywhere in the photo except the house, which is coming in a bit hot. Believe it or not, this is a great spot for HDR. Try stacking some exposures with Photomatix or manually blending in CS5 with layers. You'll need to bump the ISO and get a faster shutter speed to freeze the trees if they are that windy. I'd definitely reshoot this, maybe at blue hour so you have a little more flexibility with your shutter speeds.

The negative space I feel could work here if the rest of the image was technically sound.
