Durst M601 colour head Enlarger

Hi,

I just bought a M601 colour head enlarger. I want to primarily print black & white but got the color head for more variety. I understand printing with a color head for black and white is actually a good choice. I just have a question regarding what a Sivobox is. I have a Sivobox 35 and Sivobox 66 for both 35mm and 6x6cm formats. I see you can get condenser lenses for this as well. One is Durst Sivocon 80. What is the difference between these two - Difusion boxes and lenses? Also, what is better for Black & White? Can I discard the sivobox, and use the condenser lenses? The color head seems to have its own system with it, a picture of this is below:

The M601 manual is available free online and will give you all the information, Essentially there's one light box for 6x6 and another for 35mm. The basic enlarger came with 3 condensers a different top and lamp holder, the CLS 66 colour head wad an additional item.
