dust in the prism

ive had my olympus e-500 for about a month now and its gathered dust inside the prism somewhere. i can see it through the VF and its really annoying. is this a defect or does it come from changing the lens often. its really annoying.

Getting dust inside the prism is fairly unusual but would be due simply to use. More likely would be dust on the mirror or on the glass at the top of the camera that covers, the prism. In either case, you can clean them. If it is inside the prism itself, then my recommendation would be to do your best to ignore it when composing images.
