Wowzers.. I have by no means an educated opinion, but personally i think they look fantastic, good job

Do you have the second one in color? I'd like to see that...

Nice Job.... What is the first one? Kinda creepy looking.

The original actually has almost no colour in it... just a tiny bit of blue of blue in the background, everything else was just dark.

It's a cicada shell. I realized today after looking at it again that it would have cool to take a shot from underneath that shows how it's split down the middle like the crazy exo-skeleton that it is when the bug emerges with a fresh skin.

I would rather see the first one rotated 180 degrees even though I am sure it was shot upside down, in this tight of a crop that becomes irrelivant. Nice shots though.

Interesting point. Had a fiddle just now and I actually think it looks best rotated 90 degrees to a portrait orientation like this:

Yes I think it looks much better rotated this way. Nice shot!

I love your 2nd shot too, the focus is right on. Beautiful!

Wow that 2nd shot is just gorgeous. The water drop drew my eye right in, it looks like its own tiny universe.

IMO:
#1: Much better rotated 90.
#2: Too bad you don't have one in full color. Would have loved to see it...Not that it's not terrific the way it is .
