Would be a great photo if you could get the shot more on the eagle. Do you have a lens with some reach?

As is the shot is mostly tree and the eagle isn't exposed very well in the shade of the leaves.

70-200 is my longest right now.just testing the water to see if this is for me.i do action 80% of the time but find this very relaxing.fixing to bite the bullet on a 400 2.8 with a couple of teleconverters that will help me some.

Well if you can stake that eagle out again, with a long lens.. get a good tight shot and expose well on the bird.
