Very nice, as someone who has been to Colombia, it is a great place for birds, it is not cheap though. Also dealing with the locals can be tricky.
One example of what I mean, there is a place called Descanso de Dona Dora, where you can buy food and watch birds (it is great, the light is not good, I should have taken a tripod). My wife who is Colombian wanted to know what food was there, prices etc before we went there. She sent a message on whatsapp asking these questions (don't forget they both have the same first language) and she was sent a link to a video with pictures of birds.
She then phoned and asked and the owner's son said "The food is not that special here, you have to order in advance are you sure that you want to eat here?". She said yes and we ordered in advance, when we got there we were asked if we wanted to change our order? (So why did we have to order in advance?)
I would like to say that this was unusual but sadly it wasn't.
Also words are not fixed, people might call a room in a house a hotel even though the definition of hotel in Spanish is the same in English.
