Well I looked at them and I have to admit I am some what disappointed in them. Not the lens but with the shooter. I clearly do not have a full understanding of what I am doing with my camera. I embarrassedly will post some pics tomorrow in this thread to get some feedback.

Nice present,Congrats! I cant wait for my B-Day present that I already know what I am getting so the anxiety is killing me.It starts with a D and ends with 750.

Count me jealous DarkShadow! I had been thinking of that camera before hubby gave me my lens for Christmas. But, happy, happy with the lens.

I just joined this forum and I happened to see this thread because I am considering buying this lens and a 7200 body from Nikon refurb. for what seems a reasonable cost. I really like the 750, but I'm not a professional, just a lifetime amateur that wants as many manual controls as possible. I am moving from a balky Mamiya 645j film and a Canon g6 where I shot in RAW for photoshop. The Nikon is refurb and on sale.
