Woke up in the morning to see this beautiful site.

The shot is mostly in the bottom area of the photo and for that reason I would have moved in much closer toward the object, water, and shoreline. You can also experiment with cropping off much of the top to see if that improves it.

I rather like it as it is, with the horizontal 'lines' created by the foreground grasses, the water's edge, the outcropping of land, and the treetops. And there is side to side balance with the trees on the outcropping, and the little well. Looks like a peaceful spot

I was standing at the edge of someone elses fence and a cove of the lake. Unfortunately I could not move closer lest I trespass. Also no good telephoto lens as of yet.
