Early Morning Mist

I shot this about halfway through an 8-day canoe trip - I love the candid shots that you can get on such trips. Please let me know what you think.

Great find! Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure if I'd want to spin him/her around so the rays are on their face. I think it'd look better, but not sure if it's make sense. They're using the sun to illuminate their book so they can see it, may look odd if they were the other way. Just think out-loud.

I may be an Arse but I have a problem with this picture, even if it's sure you were looking for the mist effect with the sun, there is not enough importance given to the man laying down and reading I probaly would hav taken the picture in Landscape with a little more groud but not too much to not get the mist and sun rays. But I do like the general idea, but in my opinion it could have been even better.
