Edit of old photo

Trying out a new editing technique, would appreciate feedback.

Here is the original, that lacked contrast:

Better? Worse?

Idon't know, it looks like the same photo to me although I do see one is 725kb and the other is 750 :scratch:

If you open it up and click back and forth between them it's more apparent The change is pretty subtle.

I'd have to agree with Rick; it looks a little lighter, but otherwise I just don't see much difference. I thought it might just be my vision. Plus the fact that I just sat down with my first cup of coffee this morning.

This is embarrassing. I could have fed you a whole line of crap, but I just clicked on "One Step Photo Enhancement" on PhotoPro 3.
Rats, and I could have led people to think I knew what I was doing :lmao:

You can do a better job using levels.... levels changes the histogram so you can change any of the aspects of the photo.... it is doable in curves but not as precise

I'm learning by tinkering. I mess around with levels, contrast, brightness but when it comes to histograms, setting points and other technical stuff, this hound dog stays on the porch.

Nice Mully. I see you have better colors and more detail then my version.

I like it, Mully.

I didn't use any traditional method, it was something I found yesterday involving a BW overlay and a gradient overlay.

I like Rick's one click edit best I think.. lol the colors are nice in Mully's but for whatever reason, Rick's edit appeals to me most.
