Here are two photos that I took and El Charro Cafe'. It is a place where many tourist will frequent when they come to town. Its an old mexican restaurant that has been around for years and has been on Man vs Food...

I did not have my tripod and so these both were handheld. I was going meeting a client for lunch and was early so I took the time to take a few quick photos. I can not believe how wide the 14-24 is. I am going to have a blast with and will revisit certain spots where I wish I would have had this lens.

For now here are these two for viewing.

CC welcome.

Yeah me to...I just have run out of spots locally. I will have to take some time and drive around hunting for something new and interesting. I may need to have to get out of town and see what I can find or go up to the mountains close by. I bring my camera where I go as you never know and thought I would snap some photos and keep practicing. If I don't shoot and process I will get rusty. Plus new camera I still have to learn to use better. New lens means I am excited and want to take meaning less photos just to test it out...just like a little kid with a new toy. I am a big kid with two new toys.

I will do my best to find something more interesting. If I would have had my tri pod the inside would have made for a much better shot...nice deep colors and lots of dark wood.

Thanks though for looking.

Just processed this. From corner to corner this lens is very sharp. The distortion is way better than the tokina I had. I like this shot a little more.

Note: I did not use any sharpening methods on this photo.
