I'm starting to do some more long exposure night exposures with my D40 and the batteries just do not last long enough in the cold winter evenings (the winter sky is clearer than summer's).
Does anyone make an EL-EL9 compatible remote battery back so that I can keep the battery warm in side my jacket? Is my only option a battery grip? Two batteries probably still won't be enough to do a 30-minute exposure on the D40 in the cold.
