Tell me, can you see me in the darkness?
Tell me, can you feel me in the light?
Im just trying to be a man,
But I just dont understand,
How to bring it all together, and make it right.

Tell me, can you hear me through the thunder?
Tell me, can you reach me through the pain?
I hear everything you say,
But the hurt wont go away,
And I feel like I am drowning in the rain.

Please tell everyone I knew,
The things that I am going through,
And may my lesson be a bitter pill to swallow.
And though I havent got the time,
To sit and pen it all to rhyme,
I fear that I will not be here tomorrow.

Tell me, do you hear the angels singing?
Tell me, do you hear the devils cry?
Torn between the good and bad,
I gave up everything I had,
But I fear my last resort ive yet to try.

Tell me, do you fear the coming darkness?
Tell me, should I heed its endless call?
Ive tried to put aside my past,
But its broken me at last,
And all thats left for me to do is fall.

There is light but I can see,
That it wasnt meant for me,
I always knew but I could never comprehend.
That the gates of space and time,
Open up for the divine,
But its not the place where I will face my end.

Tell me, do you see the demons marching?
Tell me, do you hear them call my name?
Where they take me I cant tell,
Be it heaven, be it hell,
But in the end, I know its really all the same.

Tell me, have I finally awoken?
Tell me, am I still trapped in this dream?
Though his laws were not abided,
My pains at last subsided,
And im tormented no longer, it would seem.
