To reiterate the others - even the mighty D810 has a slight image quality advantage over a basic D3300. What the pro camera has is faster autofocus, better ergonomics, ability to autofocus D class lenses. Brighter prism, better weather sealing, larger buffer, optional vertical grip, more AF points, more exposure modes, built in flash with commander mode, more robust shutter, electronic first curtain, and I so want one.

Also, there is postprocessing. A lot can be fixed at that stage.

And so often also ruined. Unfortunately a light touch and a good eye isn't included in the box.
