These were kinda a challenge i made up for myself, the goal was to keep as much of the midrange and shadow detail as possible and also include highlights and darks..... Very tough at the beach....

I wish I had seen them Thor.. red X's

scratch that... I see them now.. incredible shots! Some horizon tilt correction would make them even better. (but I think #2 was intentional) and # 3 looks ready for a book cover.. awesome.

Very nice photo's. It's important to get your horizon's straight, which can be taken care of in Photoshop. Loved the lighting in the last few.
