Event/Function Photography?

This is just as much of a question as a suggestion really.

I recently posted photos from an event that I took photos at, and had difficulty choosing where to post the images. I ended up choosing Wedding/Portrait, because it was a wedding anniversary and seemed at least slightly appropriate. General gallery seems to...general, I guess, but none of the others fit either. Perhaps an additional gallery or a name change on the wedding/portrait section should be made in order to include these professional events?

I think that as long as it's a professional endeavor, the wedding & portrait forum would be a perfectly fine place to put them. You are right though, the name of the section does make it seem a bit narrow.

That might also go under photojournalism, even if it's not for a newpaper or something.

I agree with Mike. Since it was a professional job and a wedding anniversary, to boot, you probably made the best choice.

I wouldn't sweat it, Eric. We're happy to add a bit to the descriptions, but not sure it's needed for this instance?
