Eventful morning kayak outing

I took the 4-hour rec kayak fundamentals course this past Saturday in Maine. A beautriful day to be on the water.
My boss gave me a pair of Ascend 12' rec sit-ins. Now to pick up a couple more items, finish setting up the rack on the truck, and build the storage rack in the back yard. I had a canoe but haven't paddled for a number of years; going to take it slow.
