Dear sweet hen.
When I was still worked in the city, I would on occasion invite a colleague with children to come for a visit. The children would be thrilled when I got them (sometimes reluctantly) to reach under a hen & retrieve an egg to take home. They would be beaming when showing the egg to their parents.
