Exchange?!

So I recieved my order from Adorama today(very please with them)...a sigma 24-70 2.8 DG to go with my d90.....Im thinking of exchanging for the tamron 28-75 2.8. I am usually use nikon lenses but of course couldnt afford their 2.8, and the zoom ring on the sigma is tiny and basically against the camera body, and pretty tough to turn as well. Just wondering if I should just stick it out and get used to it or exchange for Tamron which I hear is pretty good as well. please HELP with your suggestions. Not to mention the Tamron is over $100 cheaper but thats no biggie, just want to know I am doing the right thing. Im lost in this at the moment.

This is the problem I have with buying stuff on-line without trying it out first...

Its a tough decision. But ultimately, you should do what you think will make you happy.

If you're lucky enough to get a good copy, the Tamron 28-75 is a hell of a lens. Sharp, fast, light, beautiful bokeh, fast AF, full frame, fairly good resistance to flare, affordable... What's not to love?

What do you think the odds are I will get a good copy haha? This Sigma is a TANK and I just cant seem to get used to the zoom ring on it. Im giving it a couple more days but my time is running thin and I cant seem to get alot of help here haha but thanks to those who replied. Im leaning towards getting the Tamron....i think...
