Experimenting with an older lens-Cityscape

This picture was taken with a Nikon 35-105 mm. Paid $41.00 for it on eBay. It is outperforming my 16-35 mm and the 24-120 mm which are new. It outperforms just by a little. But it is noticeable. Nikon D610 camera

It's great to be able to use older film-era lenses which can be had very affordably.

When you consider that many older top end lenses are selling now for under $300 for older VERY high quality glass, its worth it.

The mirrorless revolution is to me the way to go, and even if shooting with slrs, an adapter for various lenses is a good thing to have.
