Hi There, (I'm a newbie).

I've purchased a LowePro Slingshot bag, which suits me fairly well, with my Sony NEX-5 Camera (very happy with).

As it's not a full size SLR however, I could do with a little extra padding on the opening flap of this bag, to hold the camera down into the side walls a little better.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a nice "padding block" I could add into the bag, just to give less movement?

Thanks,
Steve

small towel

+1 also great to wipe the camera off it gets wet.. See towels are flippin amazing!

You should be able to adjust the velcro dividers to fit your body. But yeah, a microfiber cloth/towel wouldn't hurt either.

Bubblewrap? I love to pop that stuff.

The usual padding in a camera bag is just foam wrapped in nylon fabric. You could go to a craft or fabric store and pick up some foam and cut it to fit how you want. You could even attach some Velcro to it or actually sew it into a cover with Velcro etc.

But the idea of a cloth/towel is also a good one.

Thanks guys - appreciate the quick responses.
I was thinking foam wrapped in nylon - with velcro, as per the previous post, but a towel isn't a bad idea at all :-)
Definitely, short term, it's a small towel.. Longer term - I think a trip to the craft store is in order :)

Cheers!
