Fabric for Softbox help

So i have acquired some pictures frames for free (just the frames no glass) that are quite large in size, the biggest being around 4 feet in height. I would like to try use these as a home use DYI light diffuser or maybe get creative and make a small light tent out of them. What are some good fabrics to use?

White, rip-stop nylon fabric has been a DIY scrim-making staple for 20+ years.

Check out Jim Horton's Fabric and Doughnuts, which is run by Tim Horton's cousin. It's an Ontario-area fabric store chain...or so I heard... ;-)
