These were taken about a month ago... is it spring yet?

I'm not sure if it's just my computer screen, but all the colours look washed out to me.

1 - Beautiful red and composition, but the sky is washed out and harsh.
2 - Nice idea. Would prefer if the stone wall was coming from the middle of the bottom, not slightly to the left.
3 - Same comments as number 1.
4 - Nice colours, harsh sky.
