Fall photo shoot. Let me know your opinions!

Thanks for the response. I know your intention was not to be unfriendly.
I am not only looking for good comments about my work..I know it deserves the negatives as well, as it is far from perfect! I just thought that the way you handled your original comment was a little rude. Not what I was expecting. I love hearing people's opinions on my work, whether it be negative or positive because no matter what, you grow from it and your work improves.
With every comment that I leave people on here, I put a positive along with the negatives. I guess that's just me, but there is always something you like about the photo as well, if you care enough to critique it in the first place.

Too bad the images were removed. :(

I am not sure why one would take down photos that they posted simply because they got a little honesty?

I looked at your portfolio, to see what I may hve missed.

You have some nice photos, I might mention that most of your horizons in your waterscapes are not level.;) Easy fix and one alot miss.

Your white balance is off in alot of the outdoor series, just watch your settings, your histogram is your best friend in these situations!
Keep the glam glow to a minumum;) It does have its place, but not full on, less is always more.

THe saturation in many are also heavy handed, you can alter this as well in edit, many times this is off putting to the viewers eye.

Looks like you have a beautiful area to shoot in, willing people to model for you, and a real thirst for experience.

I would read up on exposure[I am anal about blown out stuff, and I have a whack of it.lol], and focal points.

You are young , take your time, get it right in camera, then you have less time infront of the computer trying the enhance everything.

Good luck, and I sincerely hope to see more of your work in progression.:D

If I knew what order I had the photos uploaded in, I'd post them again. But I can't remember :blushing:

Thank you for the comments. Rash decision to remove the photos. I was in the heat of the moment and not very happy might I add
Oh, and I need to get a nice tripod, my landscape horizons bother me too!

I'm having trouble seeing what was so harsh and negative about the comments given?

meh, same here, but I guess some people have thinner 'netskin

Any editing program will have a straighten slider? Just use that.

I just took some of them the wrong way. No biggie. I'm not sure why this thread is still going on haha.
