Good lighting--the lighting pattern shows the shape of the fans, it shows shape and it texture, and doesn't "get in the way of the photo". I wish there were a bit more black space on the right hand side of the frame, just to the right of the one fan. I bet this looks simply fantastic seen large!

Thanks Derrel. I can add a bit more black, I think you're right. I have this one as my desktop at the moment and it does look pretty good on an all black background. I may actually spend some money and get this one printed at 12 x 15. The young lady is a natural model and a joy to photograph.

Lighting was single flash head in a softbox at the Rembrandt position. I got lucky! (LOL! no, actually I took about 75 shots with the fans.)
