I rather like it. I might increase contrast slightly and get the darker parts of the tyre closer to black, but I am being finicky.

Makes me wonder whats going on in this scene. Flowers in the background? Is he plowing the field, etc.

I second the idea of needing more to the scene.

It looks a bit unbalanced to me.
Lots of hood but not really anything definitive.
I suggest recropping so that the amount of hood balances the driver.
I also suggest darkening the overbright areas on the shirt andlightening and sharpening the face so it becomes a reasonable center of interest.
