Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Dear all,

So looking at this photo: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/marakesha/IMG_2788_small.jpg

These colors I find very often in fashion photography. I wanted to ask on how would a client describe them to you? Is there a name for them?

Also, how does one achieve them? Specific type of film? How does one achieve it digitally? Certain color temperature/white balance or saturation?

Thank you.

Decrease the saturation, flatten-out your contrast and tonal ranges. Kinda looks like a bleach bypass.

Also note that there is nothing white in the picture. The brightest "highlight" still has a distinct density.

Describe them as cross processing.

It's the kind of effect you get when you develop C41 film in E6 or visaversa i can't remember now.

Easy to do in photoshop, just google "Cross processing tutorial"
