What's new

Favorite from today.

being new to the photo world. you dont need someone to point out your flaws in every pic you do, esp if people are pointing out its not a great shot. its kinda like if i hear one person say its bad. then it could be bad or not. but if you have half a dozen people tell you its bad you get a good impression that its bad. i dont need every single person to point out every flaw in it. if i want praise for a photo i'll post it on facebook. if i want to have a picture torn to shreds so i can learn as much as i can to improve it i'll post it on a forum like this.

id hope the people posting on this site are older then toddlers and have a higher sence of self worth.

New lens wont help you. Learn to shoot with your kit lens. It will take great photos. Unfortunately the photo you posted is no where close to being great.

schwetty is right, he is not being too harsh, just telling the truth.

it is not about wrong or right. There really is not a better way to say that the photo is just plain bad. If you make it less harsh, it wont do anything.

come on.. give me a break. Make sure you look at the file large, not just the thumbnail. Seriously... I could not understand how someone could think that may be a good photo even for beginners. I also think some beginners try too hard. They think putting filter in front of the lens will make their photo looks better. The OP could not wait to get his new lens while he could have shot amazing photos with what he has. You just set your camera to the green box and I am 100% sure it will take better picture than that.

"OH, HERE WE GO AGAIN, SAME OLD SONG..."

After all the chit you've flung in my face about C&C and "rules" and what constitutes "good versus bad" work???????? And now you're writing this kind of stuff? My,my,my schwettylens, what a complicated web we weave when we struggle to critique...our words and statements the beginners they do peeve...

lol.

Dont blame me! Blame it on ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ derrel.
