Feedback on this quick shot?

As I was heading back to college I noticed a rest area on the side of the river so I stopped to grab a quick photo. I would like some feedback on this photo as I will be going back when I have my normal tripod with me.

Okay pano, but needed a steady camera support, and I think, more foreground and less sky, especially in the center of the picuture. I can see some shake that hurts the overall image. If it's windy or whatnot, it takes a good 'pod to counteract.
