There seems to be a little disagreement among the experts over the split with one side (AOC) advocating for a single species, the Golden-Fronted, and the other side (IOC) wants two.
Either way they remind me of the Red-Bellied Woodpeckers we used to see in NY.

Looks very much like a Red-bellied Woodpecker, but can't tell without seeing the splotch of orange/red on the belly. Fantastic shot!

I'm very happy with the way this one came out.
I think that is some kind of ficus tree and it offers up tons of opportunities especially when the "berries" ripen, I've photographed several species in that same tree.

I still miss the squirrels from NY but this is a cool sight and reminded me of the pair we had nesting in the yard.
