Just getting around to some shots from last week knee deep in the beautiful Oneonta Gorge.

It was so wet in there, moisture ended up in my camera. It wouldn't turn off with the on/off switch.
I had to let it sit in a big of rice for almost 24 hours to pull the moisture out.

Scary though. Ended up buying some rain covers to be on the safe side next time.

1. You should be banned because it is unfair for the rest of us who do not live in magical scenic photo world.

2. I've had the moisture error issues many times with both video and dslrs. Scary but surprising that most if the time they pull through.

Nice shots, I like the first one best of the two. I am not sure that I get the impression of the "Fern Walls" that much. Maybe if there was more "walls" and less foreground, as the foreground tends to dominate the image and keep the viewer's eyes away from the walls.

So where is this place?

Oh wow! I love them both. Now I could definitely live in a place like that.

Do you ever stay home and watch TV...
great shots!

Those are beautiful. Did you get a shot with just the walls? I was holding my hand over the screen to try to see how it would look (Not as any suggested improvement, only an additional view). These rock!

Damn.. I need to come to visit! lol!

Lovely!

I tried to book a trip but you need to get their via a wardrobe or a magic carpet.

I got rain covers on amazon 2 for 7 bucks.

Thanks for feedback. You make good points. This is the oneonta gorge in the Columbia gorge, or.

I got a couple of the moss but not the fern walls. Good idea though for future visits!

Yes you do!

Magic carpet air is now taking reservations. There's a $35 bag check fee and a one-time, non-refundable monkey companion fee
