Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl

I've only seen owls in the wild twice before.
I saw this one fly into the hole in the telephone pole and, after grabbing my camera and waiting for a while, it popped back out.
I do believe I'm getting the stink-eye.

I was holding out for a shot if it blasting off out of the nest but my arms were giving out. I had my D3/Tamron 300mm f/2.8 but no tripod.
