I got a new haircut today so I took some photos. One went a little overboard though.

I was just playing around in front of the camera but the outcome was pretty fun (maybe not the right word to use).

Looks like a painting!!! Is it an HDR??

My techno knowledge is a little hit an miss so forgive me if it isnt!

I think it's just sharpening and high pass. HDR isn't really needed.

No HDR. I'm no fan of HDR in portraits, I rather go with the real light and work from there. To get the rough look I used a multiply technique which darkens the skin and brings out some contrast and stuff!

Edit: And yes some high pass in the end as well, forgot that!
