Film Development Lab Success

Two same day/2 hour film development outfits have opened in the last 12 months or so near me, one is a 'specialist' outfit run by photo experts and independent, the other part of Fujifilm's ongoing rollout of their 'Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shops' ( WONDER PHOTO SHOP | FUJIFILM ) internationally.

I tried the independent one a couple of months back and the result was terrible (posted a few of them here - B&W lamenting the terrible development) - having been bitten badly I have been developing myself again. Today however I sent off a roll of 35mm Portra 160 to the Fujifilm outfit and a few hours later was holding the negatives in my hand - development of all 36 shots was just $2.80(!) equivalent.

I'm very happy with the results and will certainly be using them in future, happy to be giving them the trade.
It may be worth checking if they are opening a store near you, seems they are on an international roll out of the stores.

Most of the roll is family pics but here is one example from the development, they all came out very well but I scanned myself and only had negatives, no scanning/prints.
