Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I'm very much a n00b when it comes to techincal stuff Lol.

I have a Question, is there any decent filters for a Canon E0S 350D ?
My Lens is an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. I have an UV Filter which my Dad gave me to Protect the Camera a bit. But I was wondering if there was anything like Photo Filters, or something like that? Just curious really.

Apologies for my N00biness

Ta if anyone can help :)

The only filter I would suggest for you...is a circular polarizer. Just about anything else can be easily duplicated with Photoshop.

Just a note. When you use a polarizer, remove your UV filter because with two stacked filters, you'll increase the chance of flaring and vignetting.

Depending what style pictures you like to take, a filter I find a lot of fun to use is Infrared. The Hoya R72 is the one I use mostly, and it leads to some very different pictures that IMO could not be produced with after effects.

Other than that I own a UV and circular polarizer like the suggestions above.

The only filters I use are the polarizer, infrared and cross-star, it just doesn't look the same in PS.

Can we see some infared examples. Please!!

So all you do is slap on a filter and get that as a result?

This was not straight off my Canon S3 IS, it had to be processed afterwards in photoshop a bit. Levels and channel swaps basically.
